Los Angeles, June 26, 2024— The 2024 US International Awards have officially announced their winners, celebrating excellence in corporate videos, online and social media productions, branded content, and documentaries. This year, tourism videos stood out, capturing the attention of a distinguished panel of judges.
The festival, renowned for its diverse array of over 100 categories, places a special emphasis on tourism. In the tourism-focused categories, 26 tourism entries from 10 countries were honored with Gold, Silver, Specialty Awards, and Finalist Certificates for their outstanding quality.
Switzerland Tourism stood out with four awards, including a Grand Award in the Online & Social Media category, two Gold awards, and one Silver award. Other Gold winners include Azerbaijan Airways (Azerbaijan), Visit Sweden (Sweden), and NURI Conservas Pinhais Co. (Portugal).
Silver awards were conferred to Conil Tourism (Spain), Consortium of Municipalities of Ponte de Lima, Barcelos, Paredes de Coura and Valença (Portugal), Municipality of Caldas da Rainha (Portugal), Municipality of Covilhã (Portugal), Tourism Business Council of South Africa (South Africa), Travel Alberta (Canada), VisitDenmark (Denmark) and Wroclaw Tourism Organization (Poland).
Finalist Certificates recognized the efforts of 81plus inc (Japan), Austrian National Tourist Office (Austria), Embratur (Brazil), Go Vilnius (Lithuania), Municipality of Nazaré (Portugal), Rota Vicentina Association (Portugal), Serralves Museum (Portugal), Singapore Tourism Board (Singapore), Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (Türkiye), and Zell am See-Kaprun Tourismus (Austria).
All the entries were evaluated by a group of experts from top agencies like BBDO, Ogilvy, Publicis, and VML, as well as professionals from leading companies like Bloomberg Media Studios, Google, The New York Times, and VICE, among others.
As an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals, the US International Awards classifies the tourism winners for the CIFFT Rankings and the World Tourism Film Awards. This event, which will bring together leaders from the tourism and audiovisual sectors, will reward the best tourism films in the world.
