The Centro Portugal Film Commission (CPFC) is opening the call for the 18th edition of the ART&TUR - International Tourism Film Festival, one of the most recognized tourism film festivals globally, which will take place in the city of Fundão between the 9th and 12th September 2025.
The attendees of the ART&TUR Festival will get to know the best of hospitality in Fundão, a city in the middle of the mountains of Serra da Gardunha, with the best gastronomy, natural biodiversity, and astonishing landscape.
In partnership with Turismo Centro de Portugal, Municipality of Fundão, and several local institutions, CPFC is organizing the 18th ART&TUR, which will be dedicated to cutting-edge issues of sustainable and responsible tourism development, cultural heritage, arts, and leisure, through several competitions, namely:
- Awards for best tourism films worldwide (ART&TUR Global);
- Awards for best national films (ART&TUR Portugal);
- Prize for the best blog publication about Fundão (Blogging Fundão);
- Awards for the best video about Fundão (ART&FACTORY);
The ART&TUR Festival, which is part of CIFFT - the network of international tourism film festivals, contributes to positioning the best video marketing strategies at the global level, getting together during four days the best audiovisual producers and tourism specialists from all over the world.
The Festival has 12 Categories:
- Art and Creativity;
- Adventures and Expeditions;
- Climate Change;
- Culture and Heritage;
- Environment and Ecology;
- Innovation in Tourism;
- Music and Dance;
- Sports and Leisure;
- Sustainable Tourism Issues;
- Tourism Destinations
- Tourism Products;
- Tourism Services.
