Zagreb hosted, between the 12th to 15th of October, the 11th edition of the Zagreb TourFilm Festival. With a diverse program and prestigious awards, the festival once again enchanted participants from all over the world.
At the award ceremony, held on 14th October, 29 awards were revealed, including national and international productions focused on tourism promotion.
“No Joy in Life is Small” was acclaimed with the festival’s Grand Prix and 1st place in the Tourism Destinations Region category. Produced by Proximity & Doc7or 7roy for Turismo Andalucía (Spain), the campaign starring Antonio Banderas is leading the CIFFT Ranking List of the best films promoting tourism regions due to an impressive performance in the CIFFT Circuit 2022, which includes two other Grand Prix in the Silafest (Serbia) and the Terres Travel Festival (Spain).
The festival assigned awards for the categories Tourism Destination Cities, Regions and Countries, Tourism Services, Tourism Products, Documentaries, TV Reportages, Tourism Communication, and Best Croatian Films.

Among the winners are productions from 15 countries: Croatia, France, Greece, Hungary, Jordan, Iceland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, and Uganda.
Competitiveness is a strong feature of the festival, which annually attracts tourism brands, creative agencies, and production companies worldwide. This year’s edition counted more than 200 submissions from 31 countries.
The event program included a welcome ceremony at the Kaptol Boutique Cinema & Bar, an original concept for movie theatre with a uniquely artistic atmosphere. In the following days, the festival promoted the workshop “Wine, Olive Oil & Tourism”, film screenings, and guided tours in the lively Zagreb.

Zagreb TourFilm Festival is organized by Balduči Film and the Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb, with the support of the President of the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Croatia Ministry of Tourism and Sport. Since 2011 it has been an official member of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) and part of the CIFFT Circuit alongside other tourism film festivals in four continents.
