The FilmAT Festival, founded in 2006, was a pioneer in awarding audiovisual productions related to Tourism in Poland. The event annually presents and awards the latest trends in documentaries, TV reports, tourism communication, corporate and institutional films.
FILMAT Poland stands out for its great competition, the prestigious awards, unique statuettes and the activities it offers to the public.
In addition to the Award Ceremony, forums about the sector’s trends, networking opportunities, and cultural experiences in the city are part of the festival’s annual program.
“I think that our festival is professional on a global level and has a great future ahead of it with such achievements and setting”, concludes Ewa Kotus, FilmAT Festival's director.
The festival has an International Jury formed by renowned professionals with audiovisual production, marketing, and tourism expertise. As president of the International Jury is Zbigniew Żmudzki, a polish producer of many worldwide awarded animated films, including the Oscar achieved in 2008.

The emblematic Warsaw
Warsaw is a city with a difficult and fascinating history, modern architecture, visitor-friendly infrastructure, creative inhabitants, and a rich offer of cultural events – it truly is the beating heart of Poland.
Today, Poland’s capital continues to grow, with new meeting places, business spaces and entertainment venues continually springing up. All of which makes the city even more appealing to tourists, business people, event organizers and simply anyone interested in art, culture, lifestyle and history.
Although Warsaw is one of the most rapidly developing cities in Europe with huge potential and extraordinary energy, its residents like to look back on its history and are able to combine tradition and modernity. When you look around the city, you will see that both of its sides permeate at every step in a surprising and unique way.
In Warsaw, it’s the Old Town, entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List – it’s where the city’s heart has been beating for centuries. However, when you cross the Vistula River and look at the Old Town from a distance, you are struck by how unusual the city’s panorama is – skyscrapers rise above the red roofs of the Old Town. Historical buildings blend in harmoniously with modern architecture, and the city surprises us by revealing its second face.
Warsaw’s writers, artists, and musicians play a significant role in creating the nation’s cultural values. (In www.warsawtour.pl )
